After the Azure Tide Sect was forced into hiding, Su Jiu prepared to enter the Forbidden Zone but diverted to rescue Su Mianmian from the Medicine Gate. Su Jiu exchanged herself for her sister, then became the focus of a standoff between the Medicine Gate, Dao Lord Dongcheng, and the allied sects.

• Ning Fan led the Azure Tide Sect’s survivors underground after Li Xiang’s attack destroyed their mountain defenses, and Su Jiu learned that demonic qi was infecting cultivators across the mortal world.
• Su Jiu discovered that Xia Jue, Ning Hai, Feng Qi, and Yun Huanling were tied to the Forbidden Zone, and she decided to go there with Chu Luohen after reaching the Tribulation Transcendence Stage.
• Su Jiu used her Innate Origin Qi to cure Lie Changfeng, then learned that the Medicine Gate had captured Su Mianmian and set out to rescue her.
• Su Mianmian tried to escape captivity, but the Medicine Gate Master destroyed her Teleportation Array, and Tang Wuchen intervened to protect her and challenge his master.
• Lan Fang Ziyi, Yun Chao, and Qin Ming confronted the Medicine Gate Master over his betrayal, while Liu Zhiyan exposed demonic qi in Medicine Gate pills and the Azure Tide Sect elders arrived to demand Su Mianmian’s return.
• Su Jiu agreed to exchange herself for Su Mianmian and put on a Spirit-Sealing Bracelet, while the Medicine Gate Master and rogue cultivators sought to keep her for her flesh and blood.
• Dao Lord Dongcheng urged the crowd to seize Su Jiu, and the Azure Tide Sect and allied sects fought the rogue cultivators as Su Jiu questioned the Medicine Gate Master about Jiang Qi and his Nine-Turn Reincarnation Cycle Technique.
• Dao Lord Dongcheng accused the Medicine Gate Master of protecting the Azure Tide Sect, and the dispute halted the battle until screams sounded as fleeing rogue cultivators were killed.

Su Jiu and Chu Luohen fought the demon-seed traitors and entered the shifting Forbidden Zone to find Feng Qi, Ning Hai, and Xia Jue. Yun Huanling sacrificed himself to restore Su Jiu’s eighth petal and raise the Heaven-Connecting Tower, leaving Su Jiu to face the tower’s ominous formation and the threat of the Demon Gate.

• Su Jiu exposed the Medicine Gate Master and Dao Lord Dongcheng as Demon Seed accomplices, while the Medicine Gate Master appointed Tang Wuchen as his successor and took his own life.
• Su Jiu left Su Mianmian behind and set out with Chu Luohen for the Forbidden Zone, while Yun Chao and Qin Ming went to help fight the demonic beasts.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen defeated Dao Lord Bei Kui and Dao Lord Long Kuo’s demon-seed forces, then learned that Li and Xia Jue planned to turn the Forbidden Zone into a second Demon-Subduing Land.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen entered the shifting Forbidden Zone, fought the beasts emerging from its doors, and found the Heaven-Connecting Tower rising from the earth after the laws disappeared.
• Yun Huanling told Su Jiu that his sacrifice was his choice, restored her eighth petal with the tower’s power, and faded away as she returned to consciousness.
• Yun Huanling remembered his training, his discovery that he was the Heaven-Connecting Tower, and his capture by Xia Jue and Dao Lord Qing Ci.
• The elders rushed to the Linnan Region as the tower returned, and Su Jiu found blood and corpses arranged around it in an evil formation.

Su Jiu restored her memories and purified the Azure Realm, while Xia Jue sacrificed himself to defeat Li and destroy the Forbidden Zone. After Su Jiu ascended, the survivors rebuilt their lives, and she returned to confront Zhiqi over his deception.

• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen entered the Heaven-Connecting Tower, where Su Jiu purified the Azure Realm and completed her ninth petal as Chu Luohen gave up his power.
• Xia Jue revealed how he had opposed Li, poisoned her with Su Jiu’s heart blood, and destroyed the Forbidden Zone with Yun Huanling’s help before fading away.
• Su Jiu regained her memories, learned that Chu Luohen was her Companion Spirit Grass, and destroyed the Demon Realm before ascending through the Heavenly Gate.
• Shuang Luo explained that Zhiqi had sent Su Jiu to the Azure Realm for tribulations and concealed her true form by fusing one of her petals into his spirit body.
• The Azure Realm’s survivors mourned Su Jiu and Yun Huanling, while Ning Fan, Feng Qi, and the sects worked to restore order and honor Xia Jue’s choices.
• Shuang Jiu pursued Zhiqi through Heaven Beyond Heaven, then struck him down and imprisoned him beneath her Nine-Petal Frostflow mark.
• Su Jiu demanded that Zhiqi explain what had happened in the Azure Realm and confronted him for hiding that he had sealed her memories.
