Yin Chao rescued Luo Lingyue from Fog Mountain Sanatorium and entered Fortune-Blessed Village, where he uncovered the story behind Cheng Liangzi’s death and escaped as the false village collapsed. He returned to the sanatorium to find his companions injured and learned that Xu Zhou may have sacrificed himself to save Fang Tang.

• Yin Chao escaped the school instance after exposing Linmu as Gao Louyu and persuading the survivors to eliminate her, then gained Mental Contamination and asked Bai Xu how to find Luo Lingyue.
• Yin Chao followed Wang Ren’s memories to Fog Mountain Sanatorium, found Luo Lingyue among its patients, and escaped with her and Anna through a gateway to Fortune-Blessed Village.
• Yin Chao and the other players investigated Cheng Liangzi’s death, and Li Meihe admitted that she had bullied Liangzi before dying on Luo Lingyue’s blade.
• Yin Chao learned that Cheng Liangzi had died in childbirth, commanded the skeletons as the village collapsed, and brought the other players out of the instance.
• Yin Chao returned to the sanatorium and learned that Long Zang and An Nian were injured, Mad Dog had died, and Fang Tang suspected him of knowing Lin Xue was the instance’s real boss.
• Fang Tang remembered that Xu Zhou had used his reversal skill to take her damage, while Yin Chao returned to university and met Liang Chen and Midnight for hot pot.

Yin Chao uncovered how Yin Rui’s execution and Shang Yi’s repeated sacrifices created the curse, then passed the trial and became both the Evil God and Supreme God. He later joined Mo Nan and Bai Yu in an instance where he helped trapped players confront their dreams, ending with Mo Nan facing the memory of killing his family.

• Bai Xu revealed an oracle foretelling a new god, and Yin Chao entered the unprecedented SS-rank instance Curse with Bai Xu, Midnight, Luo Lingyue, and others.
• Yin Chao investigated the orphanage’s blood-fed roses, learned the preachers had sacrificed believers to prevent Yin Rui from becoming a god, and watched the city execute her as the curse descended.
• Yin Chao learned that Shang Yi had repeatedly sacrificed himself for Yin Rui and was behind the curse, then helped stop the cycle by reminding Yin Rui of their shared past.
• The system named Yin Chao the new Evil God and Supreme God, and he made Feng Fangfeng his ghost servant before kissing Midnight in a parking garage.
• Mo Nan told Yin Chao about his wartime killings and asked him to kill him if he lost control, then joined Yin Chao and Bai Yu in the instance I Had a Dream.

Yin Chao led the players through the Underworld to rescue Eurydice, but Bai Tan died guiding Moon Shadow to safety. The next S-rank instance forced Yin Chao to relive his time as No. 001 and exposed the laboratory’s experiments, ending with No. 002 falling unconscious and the story revealing how Xiao Ming first met Yin Rui.

• Yin Chao and the others reached the King of the Underworld, where Bai Tan confessed his love for Moon Shadow, and Yin Chao fought the king after he recognized him as Number 001.
• Yin Chao revealed Eurydice had survived, completed the trial, and attended Bai Tan’s funeral as Moon Shadow mourned him.
• Yin Chao entered the S-rank instance Experiment Subject No. 001 and awoke as a child in a laboratory, where researchers confined and tortured him.
• Xia Yu and Wang Ke discovered No. 028 was created from No. 001’s genes, while Yin Chao grew close to No. 002 and the laboratory descended into chaos.
