Mitian strode down the corridor as though he owned the place.
Because of the sudden fire, Bo Yi, as director of the Research Institute, had to stay behind to calm the researchers, arrange treatment and care for the injured, coordinate the reconstruction work, protect their important experimental records... and so on. For the time being, he could not get away.
And so, Mitian took over the "job" of "settling accounts."
Bo Yi had only one requirement for him-
As long as he left them alive in the end, Mitian could do whatever else he liked.
Mitian found that perfectly understandable:
After all, this was no sudden fit of saintly compassion. If someone had implanted a potentially lethal chip in his body, kept him under surveillance for all these years, and still popped up every so often to provoke him and make his life miserable, he too would have to deal with his enemies personally before he could consider his revenge complete.
