Shi Xinyi lightly covered her mouth, looking a little embarrassed. "How rude of me..."
"So, what you're saying is..." Bo Yi seemed to have no intention of letting her off. "You didn't do anything last night. You just slept?"
"That's right..." Shi Xinyi nodded, seemingly unable to understand what there was to doubt.
"Really?" Bo Yi said softly. "Then can you tell me-"
He pointed at the bloodstains on the underside of the turned-back blanket on the bed. "If you didn't do anything or encounter anything, where did this blood come from?"
He watched Shi Xinyi's expression and said pointedly, "These bloodstains are on the inside of the blanket..." That wasn't something she could explain away by saying blood had splashed onto it from elsewhere in the room.
Shi Xinyi opened her mouth, seemingly about to explain, but Bo Yi raised a hand and cut her off before she could speak. "Don't tell me you accidentally put the blanket on upside down while you were sleeping..."
"If I'm not mistaken..." Bo Yi tapped the bloodstains on her hospital gown. "If you lie down under that blanket now, the bloodstains inside it would most likely... line up perfectly with the ones on your clothes..."

Just then, one player seemed to remember something and gave a quiet, puzzled murmur. "I feel like... I've seen this somewhere before..." The pattern of bloodstains on Shi Xinyi gave her a sense of déjà vu.
"Now that you mention it..." Another player nodded in agreement. "It does look familiar..."
"Of course it does..." Bo Yi sneered. "Didn't we... just see it?"
