How could Bo Yi be here?!
Ran Yan's heart lurched.
Although they hadn't made a huge commotion since following the NPCs inside, they certainly hadn't been quiet. Yet Bo Yi, lying on that long table, had kept his eyes closed, showing no reaction whatsoever. If Ran Yan hadn't seen his chest still rising and falling faintly, she would have thought he was already...
She couldn't help walking toward Bo Yi, wanting to check on him. But she had barely taken one step before a hand caught her clothes.

"What is it?" Hearing her, Shen Jiayue turned to her in puzzlement.
"Look over there..." Ran Yan pointed at the tall Saintess Statue at the very front... or rather, the top of its head. "On top of the Saintess Statue's head, is that a... pigeon?"
"A pigeon?" Shen Jiayue blinked, craning her neck to look where Ran Yan was pointing. "Where?"
"Right on top of the Saintess Statue's head..." But the Saintess Statue was white, and the pigeon was a little white shape too. If Ran Yan hadn't happened to spot its red eyes,
