The central plaza was spacious enough to easily accommodate their nearly one hundred players. Tiles of various colors covered the ground, and each seemed to bear a different pattern. Unfortunately, exposure to wind, sun, and rain had probably faded most of their colors, robbing them of their former brilliance and leaving them riddled with cracks. From a distance, the patterns formed by the tiles resembled shattered faces.
