Any player who had ridden the carousel that day would have recognized the wandering figures at a glance. They were the same "visitors" they had seen during the day-and "played" "dodgeball" with.
But clearly, none of the players still outside, unable to get into a Safe House, had ridden the carousel. It was easy to imagine their terror at suddenly encountering such a horrifying group of "visitors."
Unfortunately, this player did not seem to have much luck. His hiding place had originally been right in the blind spot of the "visitors" wandering along this street. But as luck would have it, another "visitor" wandered over from some other street and entered this one directly behind him.
And just like that, the player was caught out.
The commotion he made as he fled drew the surrounding "visitors," who followed the noise and converged on him. Soon, the single figure pursuing him became five or six, then swelled into a vast procession that looked likely to keep growing.
Just then, Bo Yi suddenly murmured, "Huh?"
