The hand covering his face was cold and rough, and the arm wrapped around him clamped down on Bo Yi's body like an iron vise. Just as Bo Yi was about to struggle, a somewhat familiar voice sounded beside his ear. "Don't move."
Bo Yi froze, then slowly turned his head.
In the darkness, a pair of faintly glowing red eyes gazed down at him, a slight smile still lingering on the face hidden in the shadows.
Bo Yi: "..."
Once he confirmed that it was an "old acquaintance," however, he dropped his guard and slowly relaxed. He glanced at the hand covering his mouth, signaling with his eyes for the other man to let go.
"Oh, look at me..." Mitian looked apologetic, as though he had only just realized he had forgotten to release him, and moved his hand away from Bo Yi's face with obvious reluctance.
Whether by accident or not, his fingers lightly brushed Bo Yi's lips as his hand withdrew.
Bo Yi pressed his lips together and lifted his eyes to give Mitian a displeased look.
"What's wrong?" Mitian looked utterly innocent.
Bo Yi couldn't be bothered to argue with him. He glanced at the arm still wrapped around his body, signaling for Mitian to release that as well.
Understanding immediately dawned on Mitian's face, and his arm loosened at once. Bo Yi was about to pull out of his embrace when he suddenly felt a weight around his waist.
The next second, his feet left the ground as the arm that had suddenly appeared around his waist hauled him over. With a dull thud, Bo Yi was spun around and slammed hard into the broad chest behind him.
They were pressed even more tightly together than before.
"What was that sound?!"
