Su Bai returned to the past, cleared the Route 444 game with A Xi’s help, and gained the power to bring ghosts into his Vengeful Ghost Puzzle. He protected his mother by connecting her hospital room to the Mist Shop, then entered a new game at Happiness Residential Complex.

• Su Bai woke eleven years in the past and learned his mother was alive, but the Nightmare World pulled him into the Route 444 Last Bus game.
• Su Bai left the bus at Commercial Street, entered the Mist Shop, and learned from Xiao Wu how his mark could bind ghosts and connect doors to the shop.
• Su Bai returned to the bus and warned Wan Shasha, Zhang Yibu, and Qin Ge not to leave at Ghost Village, where the passengers were meant to become part of a wedding feast.
• At Ghost Village, Su Bai helped A Xi regain her memories and humanity, and A Xi drove the villagers into flames while Su Bai absorbed the White Qipao Paper Figure.
• Su Bai accepted A Xi’s hand and added the Nurse to his Vengeful Ghost Puzzle, then cleared the game and chose to return to the real world.
• Su Bai found an old ghost and a Creepy Infant attacking his mother, killed them, and connected her hospital room to the Mist Shop for protection.
• Su Bai prepared to seek another nightmare game as a graveyard became Happiness Residential Complex, where Feng Ling entered Apartment 602 and heard chopping from the kitchen.

Feng Ling recovered her memories and joined a group of players trying to survive the Happiness Residential Complex for forty-eight hours. Su Bai investigated the ghosts and helped Lan Xingchen’s group, while the players learned how Lan Xingchen’s betrayal had led to Ning Yan and Fang Xiujie’s deaths and faced the possibility that the Red Moon would restore the ghosts’ memories.

• Feng Ling remembered her real past, escaped her impostor parents, and met Ning Yan, Fang Xiujie, and Su Bai in their safe house.
• Fang Xiujie concluded that the players had to follow their assigned roles and survive for forty-eight hours, while Su Bai visited his aunt in Room 402 and discovered the ghosts hidden in her shadow.
• Su Bai absorbed his aunt and the cats after learning their story, then answered Ning Yan’s signal and found Lan Xingchen with Qiu Man and Qiu Lei.
• Lan Xingchen led the group toward Building 1, where the Butcher Ghost and Red-Dressed Hanged Ghost attacked, and Su Bai used Black Umbrella to defeat both ghosts.
• Sister Yao revealed that Lan Xingchen had freed an evil ghost three years earlier, which led to Ning Yan and Fang Xiujie’s deaths after they chose to kill themselves rather than be absorbed.
• Sister Yao told Lan Xingchen that Ning Yan and Fang Xiujie had chosen to save him, and urged him to stop punishing himself and help others in practical ways.
• As the group rested, Qiu Man and the others described how inconsistencies helped them recover their memories, while Su Bai suspected that ghosts whose false memories matched their wishes might remain trapped.
• Su Bai secured the entrance as Qiu Man feared the Red Moon could restore the ghosts’ memories, and he said no one could stop the moon.

Su Bai helped the survivors fight through the Red Moon crisis, allowing Ning Yan and Fang Xiujie to free Lan Xingchen from the guilt that bound them. Back in the real world, he returned to the Mist Shop and entered a new game at the Lorimas Grand Hotel disguised as an attendant, with a mission to lay Lorimas to rest.

• Feng Ling joined Su Bai and the others in Building 1 as the ghosts regained their memories and the complex trapped the players inside.
• Su Bai, Ning Yan, Lan Xingchen, and Feng Ling fought the horde, and Feng Ling recovered her memories and abilities.
• Ning Yan and Fang Xiujie confronted Lan Xingchen about his guilt, then disappeared after urging him to return to the real world and live.
• The supernatural faction's score reached zero, and the Administrator sent Su Bai back with a new-game condition, a favor to complete, and a message for the Ghost Shaman.
• Su Bai reunited with his mother, visited the Mist Shop, and learned from Zhang Yibu about the Relevant Authorities' forum and plans for a Trading Market.
• Su Bai prepared the Mist Shop's ghost-ability books and fell asleep beside Xiao Wu, while an unfamiliar voice said it would accompany him next time.

Su Bai uncovered Lorimas’s imprisonment and Cheng Xun’s experiments while the players turned against Cheng Xun’s faction. The arc ended with Zhu Nian revealing the hotel’s brutal experiments and the fate of a player who survived the corrupted meat, while Shen Dong’er still sought the truth about Lorimas.

• Su Bai found a blood-marked notice warning players not to eat or drink, then discovered a notebook describing an earlier game and white roses that could ease the effects of hotel food.
• Su Bai overheard Peng Zhen admit that his group had destroyed Dolls and realized they had lured players into consuming corrupted food and water, so he passed the notebook to the players while concealing himself.
• Su Bai broke into the hidden floor above the Sixth Floor and met Lorimas, who told him Jialan had left after learning her origins and that Cheng Xun was experimenting on her.
• Su Bai learned that Jialan had first imprisoned Lorimas to research a life-extending drug, then discovered a chained, monstrous prisoner and resolved to stop Cheng Xun and his accomplices.
• Cheng Xun and Peng Zhen ate the hotel’s food and drank its water to claim they were safe, but Zhu Nian’s outburst about being forced to taste the pork exposed their deception.
• Cheng Xun admitted that he had altered the food and water for experiments on the players, while Lian Xiangyu, Shen Dong’er, and others confronted him and the lobby erupted into fighting.
• Lian Xiangyu led Shen Dong’er and Zhu Nian to the Infirmary, where Zhu Nian revealed Cheng Xun’s quest for immortality, Lorimas’s role in the experiments, and the chained or buried victims, including a surviving player transformed into an undying monster.
