The prince of the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, son of King Anasterian Sunstrider, and a member of Dalaran's Council of Six.
With his gleaming golden hair and sharply defined features, he seemed handsome from absolutely every angle.
He wore an ornate violet-and-gold robe, but Rhode saw none of the magical fireballs that should have hovered above his shoulders.

Then Rhode immediately realized he might have gotten the timeline wrong.
Those three green fireballs were formed from three moon crystals after the fall of Silvermoon City. They probably did not exist yet.
At the moment, Kael'thas held the documents and letters Rhode had retrieved from Scholomance.
"The evidence that Kel'Thuzad betrayed Dalaran and secretly researched and spread dark magic is conclusive. I imagine Council Leader Antonidas has already thanked Mage Rhode on our behalf," Kael'thas said, his voice carrying the elegance unique to high elves. "But we would like to know whether Mage Rhode has any other information to share with us."
Perhaps because he was an elven prince, Kael'thas seemed to hold a fairly high position despite Council Leader Antonidas being the nominal head of the Council of Six-at least higher than the other members.
"Oh, well, Kael... Prince Kael'thas," Rhode began, almost calling Kael'thas by his usual nickname out of habit. Fortunately, he caught himself and quickly corrected it. "According to my investigation in the cellars of Caer Darrow, the dark magic they were researching appears to be a form of necromancy capable of bringing dead things back to life."
Kael'thas was not particularly surprised that Rhode called him "Prince." After all, he was presumably quite famous, both among elves and among humans.
