Unlike Baturo, who had rushed off as soon as he received his assignment, goblins wanted a signed employment agreement.
And so, in the VIP suite of the Southshore Tavern, Earl Rhode and the goblin Gixil held a signing ceremony for their cooperation agreement.
During the ceremony, both parties engaged in cordial, friendly discussions and negotiations, reaching a shared understanding regarding the construction and development of the Westpoint School of Magic, as well as its future expansion.
In an atmosphere of unity and harmony, Earl Rhode delivered his closing remarks, and the signing ceremony concluded amid laughter and good cheer.
His closing remarks were, "Off you go, future Trade Prince!"
After Gixil left in high spirits, Rhode rested for a while and thought about what he needed to do next, then opened the door to head downstairs.
Before he even reached the stairs, he heard Baturo's booming voice from below. "Come on, come on, friends from far and wide! Join our Westpoint School of Magic project team! There's work to do and money to earn..."
Well, the fellow had apparently gotten straight to work the moment he stepped outside.
It made sense, though. A tavern drew people from all over, after all, so it was probably a pretty good place to advertise.
Baturo kept going, his voice growing more impassioned. "This enterprise belongs to the Earl of Darrow Hill, officially invested by the Kingdom of Lordaeron, and it's a legitimate school recognized by Dalaran! Join us, and let's build a bright future together!"
As expected of someone who had spent years selling cloaks, he had a gift for rousing speeches. That kind of eloquence could only come from constant practice.
His pitch worked. Someone in the tavern immediately showed interest. "So how do I join?"
"It's
