Frostbolt: Deal 3 damage to a character and freeze it.
Although this was another spell card that could go straight to the face, it dealt only 3 damage.
And what Millhouse Manastorm needed now was 6 damage. Six!!
Millhouse Manastorm looked at the cards in his hand.
"Chillwind Yeti," "Novice Engineer," and the "Frostbolt" he had just drawn.
He had no choice but to play "Novice Engineer."
This 2-mana minion with 1 attack and 1 health would do nothing for his board, but she had a decent battlecry: draw a card.
If Millhouse Manastorm wanted to win now, he still had to take this gamble.
He still needed a direct-damage spell card! This time, he needed Fireball or Frostbolt, not Pyroblast.
"Novice Engineer" would cost him 2 mana crystals, so even if he drew Pyroblast now, he would no longer be able to cast it.
And so, he played "Novice Engineer."
As her battlecry activated, a new card sprang from the deck.
"Gnome Inventor!"
Oh, come on. Was this some kind of joke?
In despair, Millhouse Manastorm angrily flicked his hand and played the card he had just drawn.
"Gnome Inventor" had the same battlecry as "Novice Engineer," but cost 4 mana.
That also meant Millhouse Manastorm had already spent 6 mana.
He had only one chance to win: he had to draw a second Frostbolt!
One Frostbolt dealt 3 damage. Two would give him the 6 he needed, and he had just enough mana!
"Gnome Inventor" activated its battlecry.
A card was drawn from the deck.
When Millhouse Manastorm saw the words on this final card, he leaped up in excitement.
Frostbolt!
With a godly topdeck in hand, the world was mine!
He had this game in the bag!
He had finally won!
"Sorry." For the very first time,
