By now, the Great Fireball in front of Rhode's hands had grown to more than five meters in radius.

It already looked bigger than the enormous spider looming in the pool across from him!

Rhode looked as though he were holding up a building.

Even its color had changed from that of an ordinary fireball.

The fireballs Rhode had cast before were usually red or orange, but now the flames had begun to glow blue, possibly because the temperature inside was climbing ever higher.

This was also the result of the fireball's energy gathering rapidly.

Rhode remembered reading in the spellbook Fireball: From Beginner to Mastery that if a fireball accumulated enough energy to grow larger, burn hotter, and turn nearly blue, its power would rise to an entirely different tier.

At that point, it could no longer be called Fireball. It was the spell's advanced form, with another name: Pyroblast!

Rhode had been unable to cast Pyroblast before, perhaps because he could not gather mana quickly enough to bring the fireball up to that temperature.

But now that he had the Thought Acceleration Gemstone, things were different.

"Sorry-Pyroblast!"

While everyone present stared dumbly at the enormous blue-and-yellow fireball, Rhode swung both hands with all his might and hurled the terrifying thing, large enough to blot out the sky, toward the enemy.

With a whoosh, the world really seemed to darken for an instant.

Despite its enormous size, the Pyroblast fireball still moved incredibly fast.

Like a bolt of lightning, it struck the gigantic Poison Spider in the pool in an instant.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM-!!

The instant the Pyroblast hit the spider, the explosion's brilliant flash forced everyone to turn away and shut their eyes.

Then came an enormous roar, as though someone had detonated a bomb right
