They cleaned up the battlefield.

There was actually very little to clean up. Rhode's Pyroblast had already leveled almost everything around the pool.

The altar, however, had largely escaped the destruction. Aside from the several Protective Wards planted there, Rhode had also held back a little when attacking in that direction.

As soon as he arrived, he had spotted some strange things laid out on the altar.

They were probably ritual implements prepared for the summoning. Although the Cult of the Damned and the Troll Witch Doctors used them, they were all spellcasters, so surely the items would have some use.

Rhode now stood on the altar, examining these "spoils."

He recognized some of them: runes carved with strange symbols, probably the evil runes used exclusively by the Cult of the Damned.

The other things were a complete jumble: oddly shaped branches, masks painted with strange patterns, colorful ornaments, and a long, slender feather in a vivid hue.

"Pack it all up. We'll study it when we get back." Rhode waved a hand.

Sally stepped forward.

She held a bag, having come along specifically to help Rhode carry things.

But just then, Kienlo, in Cheetah Form, suddenly leaped past them to the front of the altar and pinned the long feather beneath her paw.

"What is it?" Sally asked curiously.

"Kitties love playing with feathers!" Lilia snatched up the long feather and tossed it into the air.

Kienlo sprang up, caught the feather in her mouth, and landed lightly.

"Amazing! Kitty, do it again!" Lilia reached for the feather once more.

"Stop fooling around." Kienlo released the feather onto the ground, then said excitedly, "A Moonlight Feather. This is a Moonlight Feather!"

"A Moonlight Feather?" Lilia did not understand.

Rhode and Sally did not understand either, and both came closer.
