"Sister!"
Lilia cried out, her eyes reddening.
She had already spotted Galinde Summerdrake in the projection.
When Rhode looked, he quickly recognized which one she was.
Sure enough, she looked somewhat like Lilia, only more mature and more striking.
Arugal, meanwhile, was dumbstruck.
"Is this... Image Projection? I never imagined Image Projection could be used like this..." Arugal murmured.
But this was no time for him to marvel.
His last trump card had failed. He had to think about escaping.
"By the way, what's this?" Rhode asked, summoning another image sent by a different arcane golem.
It showed a patch of land on a hillside. The soil was pitch-black, and growing in it was felweed!
"Heh, that's one of our local specialties. I happened to discover that a dark magic spell recorded in The Book of Ur could create this sort of dark soil, and that soil can nurture magical herbs like these!" Arugal said proudly.
At the same time, he realized this might give him another bargaining chip, so he added, "This magical herb can be used not only to make the Worgen Potion, but also to create runes imbued with energy! Spare me, and I'll teach you. I can give you The Book of Ur, too. It's in my Magic Tower..."
Rhode remained expressionless. "Teach me how to grow and use felweed? I already know, thanks."
Arugal's face fell in shock.
Was there anything this Rhode didn't know?!
Still, despite what Rhode had said, he was making his own calculations.
My field in Alterac was created using a demonic plague. If I accidentally destroy it, it'll be gone for good.
But Arugal can create this soil himself. That's much more sustainable.
Hmm, I just need to get hold of his copy of The Book of Ur.
