It was over.
It was already too late. Arthas had even delivered his line.
Well... except...
Wasn't that line supposed to come at some point other than when he put on the helm?
What happened next left Rhode dumbfounded all over again.
Arthas took the Helm of Domination off again!
Took... it off!
What was he doing?
Could he please take this seriously? This was the Helm of Domination, the symbol of the Lich King!
Was it really something you could just put on and take off like that?
Then Arthas stared blankly at the helm in his hands and said, "I... did I put it on backward? I couldn't see anything just now."
Holy crap!
You're a grown man! How can you be like a little kid such as Lilia and not know which way a helmet goes?
Not daring to waste another moment, Rhode quickly extended his Mage Hand and snatched the Helm of Domination away.
It had been a false alarm.
Luckily, the Helm of Domination was reasonably smart. It had to be worn correctly; it wouldn't recognize someone who put it on backward.
Otherwise, "Wrath of the Lich King" would have kicked off again in the near future.
Uh... perhaps they would have had to start the raid right here and now.
"Arthas, that was far too reckless!" Uther scolded him. "Equipment imbued with the power of death isn't something you can withstand."
Arthas defended himself without a care. "I only wanted to do something for Azeroth and Lordaeron!"
Uther frowned. "Watch your tone, Arthas. You may be a prince, but I am still your mentor."
"Of course, Uther. I haven't forgotten that," Arthas said. "But shouldn't we be focusing on solving the problem the Lich King left behind?"
Uther's gaze was resolute. "I'll do it!
