The moment the words left her mouth, she froze.

Her voice sounded unfamiliar, as though it had emerged from this phantom body for the very first time.

She raised a hand and touched her throat. It felt empty, with neither warmth nor substance.

Then she looked around: a pool divided into two colors, one half roiling crimson, the other a still, inky blue; exotic flowers and herbs covered the banks, and the spiritual mist was so dense that her soul body felt slightly swollen.

The sights were utterly unfamiliar, yet for some inexplicable reason, she found them beautiful and soothing.

Li Chen did not answer. Instead, he began checking her information. Since she technically counted as the same individual, however, he still needed to confirm whether she was the original "Ah Yin."

A moment later, he withdrew his gaze and asked, "Do you still remember your name?"

His question brought the phantom's attention back to him. She blinked her still-bewildered eyes, lowered her head in thought, then looked up again. Her lips moved, but her tone was uncertain and tentative. "Blue Silver Emperor Ah... Yin?"

She frowned at her own answer. That name seemed to have floated up automatically from somewhere very, very deep, but she had no idea why she was called that.

All she knew was that it probably, perhaps, might be her name.

Watching her reaction, Li Chen fell silent for a breath, then suddenly said, "Tang Hao."

Ah Yin tilted her head, her confusion entirely genuine. "Who's Tang Hao? That sounds a little familiar."
