Barber and Traveling Companion

Wu Liuqi first appears accompanying Yang Lin in the Star Dou Great Forest. Although skilled with scissors, he admits that he cannot grill fish; his attempt leaves the fish charred and inedible 1.

After meeting Huo Yuhao, he gives the boy a carefully tailored haircut and trims his eyebrows, helping him regain confidence. Tang Ya and Bei Bei become customers as well. Yang Lin claims that Wu Liuqi previously drew customers away from every other barbershop on their street, while Yang Lin handled the people who came looking for trouble 2 3.

Wu Liuqi declines Tang Ya’s invitation to join the Tang Sect, preferring his haircutting business. He nevertheless accompanies the group while they hunt Tang Ya’s third soul ring, asking Bei Bei to advertise his services 2 8.
