  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader detected a strange aura in a tree, crushed its tree spirit embryo, and continued searching.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader realized Ye Han might be hiding inside a tree and considered destroying every tree nearby.

Ch. 452Each with his own agenda

The Black Mountain Cult Leader failed to catch Ye Han and realized the young cultivator possessed numerous rare treasures and techniques. When Young Master Zhuge arrived demanding news of Ye Han and his belongings, the two men concealed their motives and became rivals over what Ye Han carried.

  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader concluded that Ye Han had escaped using a heaven-defying treasure and considered searching the area with spells.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader put away his Black Gourd when Young Master Zhuge arrived on a flying boat.
  • Young Master Zhuge asked whether the Black Mountain Cult Leader had caught Ye Han and taken his storage bags.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader suspected Young Master Zhuge sought an item inherited by Fourth Young Master Zhuge and decided to hide Ye Han's other treasures from him.
  • Young Master Zhuge grew suspicious that the Black Mountain Cult Leader had found Ye Han's treasures, while the Black Mountain Cult Leader told him to search for Ye Han himself.

Ch. 453A rare treasure emerges?

The Black Mountain Cult Leader placated Young Master Zhuge while concealing his inability to catch Ye Han and the treasures Ye Han carried. A tremor and five-colored light revealed a huge mountain rising in the Upper Tomb Land, and Young Master Zhuge led the group toward it as the Cult Leader secretly ordered his subordinates to keep searching for Ye Han.

  • Young Master Zhuge apologized to the Black Mountain Cult Leader, who blamed Ye Han’s escape on a possible Foundation Establishment Late Stage cultivator accompanying him.
  • Young Master Zhuge asked whether the Azure Profound Sect had a cultivator with a thunder spirit root, and the Black Mountain Cult Leader claimed it did not.
  • The ground shook, and the group saw five-colored spirit light rise over the mountains as heaven and earth spiritual energy surged toward it.
  • Young Master Zhuge ordered Xue Bing and Xue Xue to pilot the Flying Boat toward the phenomenon, and the Black Mountain Cult Leader followed.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader secretly ordered his subordinates to search nearby for Ye Han as an enormous mountain slowly rose on the horizon.

Ch. 454The Giant Mountain

A colossal mountain rose amid a five-colored radiance in the Upper Tomb Land, drawing cultivators and demon beasts toward what might be an immortal’s tomb. Young Master Zhuge set out with Xue Bing and Xue Xue, while the Black Mountain Cult Leader secretly continued searching for Ye Han, who felt the earth shake from inside a possessed tree.

  • A gigantic mountain emerged from the range as storms, spiritual light, and tremors swept across the surrounding area.
  • Young Master Zhuge urged the Black Mountain Cult Leader to hurry toward the phenomenon and ordered Xue Bing and Xue Xue to speed up their flying boat.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader went along with Young Master Zhuge but worried about powerful rivals and the danger of seeking treasure, while still hoping to capture Ye Han.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader ordered his subordinates to search for Ye Han, and they suspected he was hiding information about the fugitive.
  • Ye Han felt the violent tremors and wondered what was causing the upheaval in the earth and spiritual energy.

Ch. 455A Chance to Escape

Ye Han realized that a rising ancient treasure ground had drawn the Black Mountain Cult Leader away, giving him a chance to escape his hiding place despite his weakened condition. As Ye Han watched the mountain rise, the Purple Cauldron and an object in his Storage Bag began to tremble in response.

  • Ye Han overheard the Black Mountain Cult Leader's subordinates say that the Cult Leader and Young Master Zhuge had gone toward the disturbance while they searched for him.
  • Ye Han reasoned that Young Master Zhuge's demands had forced the Black Mountain Cult Leader to leave, creating a rare chance to escape.
  • As the tremors intensified, the subordinates spotted an enormous mountain rising into the air and debated whether to go there.
  • Ye Han used the Red Mask to slip out of the tree and saw the distant mountain covered in ancient buildings and spiritual light.
  • The Purple Cauldron and an object in Ye Han's Storage Bag began trembling as he looked toward the mountain.

Ch. 456Things Looked Grim

Ye Han suppressed his desire to investigate the newly appeared mountain and tried to retreat while wounded, wary of the Black Mountain Cult and powerful beasts converging there. Silver lights attacked the approaching cultivators and demon beasts, then the mountain released a vast pillar of five-colored light, leaving Ye Han with an ominous premonition.

  • Ye Han sensed that the Purple Cauldron and the Heavenly Secret Hall plaque were reacting to the distant mountain, but decided that pursuing its treasures was too dangerous while he was injured and low on pills.
  • Ye Han used the Mind-Clearing Art to restrain his greed and quietly withdrew, judging that his damaged formations and poor condition left him unable to fight the Black Mountain Cult cultivators.
  • Ye Han saw cultivators and enormous demon beasts racing toward the suspended mountain as five-colored spiritual energy gathered around it.
  • Silver lights shot from the mountain and clashed with the approaching cultivators and demon beasts, filling the horizon with explosions.
  • A towering pillar of five-colored light erupted from the mountain and formed a spreading field of runes, giving Ye Han a deeply ominous premonition.

Ch. 457The restriction spreads

A spreading five-colored restriction grounded cultivators and demon beasts, suppressed divine sense, and sealed the Upper Tomb Land, trapping Ye Han inside. While recovering in a cavern, he heard two men mention traps in the Heavenly Secret Hall and search for Junior Brother Yang, leaving him to wonder whether the hall’s appearance was deliberate.

  • A curtain of five-colored spirit light spread from the massive mountain, grounding the Black Mountain Cult members and suppressing Ye Han’s flight and divine sense.
  • Ye Han ran toward the outskirts of the Upper Tomb Land but found its boundary sealed by an immense barrier that even powerful demon beasts could not damage.
  • Ye Han failed to escape through the barrier with a Blood Escape Talisman and retreated to a sealed cavern to recover from his injuries.
  • Two men nearby complained that the Heavenly Secret Hall contained traps and decided to search for Junior Brother Yang, prompting Ye Han to question whether the hall’s appearance was a coincidence.

Ch. 458Thousand Mountains School

While recovering from the Azure Profound Divine Body, Ye Han overheard three Thousand Mountains School cultivators discussing how their actions had triggered the Heavenly Secret Hall’s emergence and sealed the area. He realized the dead gray-robed Junior Brother Yang had been involved, then learned the Thousand Mountains School had killed Azure Profound Sect members.

  • Ye Han hid inside a mountain hollow and used a Yin-Yang Essence-Transmutation Pill to recover from the forbidden spell’s damage.
  • Ye Han overheard three injured Thousand Mountains School cultivators blame Junior Brother Yang’s absence and discuss the Heavenly Secret Hall, its powerful Heavenly Secret Soldiers, and the restriction trapping them.
  • Ye Han deduced that the dead gray-robed Junior Brother Yang had been the man who tried to steal his Three-Eyed Vermilion Sparrow spoils.
  • The Thousand Mountains School cultivators said they had killed several Azure Profound Sect members, and Ye Han’s gaze turned cold.

Ch. 459Strike!

Ye Han decided to ambush three injured Thousand Mountains School cultivators after learning they had killed Azure Profound Sect disciples and held useful treasures. He struck while they healed, but a silver flash appeared behind him as the Heavenly Secret Soldiers arrived.

  • Ye Han overheard the cultivators discuss Junior Brother Yang, the Heavenly Secret Hall token, and the Heavenly Secret Soldiers.
  • Ye Han resolved to kill the three cultivators for revenge and supplies, then concealed himself with the Red Mask Ancient Treasure and prepared his Soul-Slaying Sword.
  • Ye Han attacked the healing cultivators with a golden sword-ray and a pitch-black rope while a gray-lit figure sent blue sword-rays at the female cultivator.
  • The middle-aged cultivator’s sword was knocked back, vines bound his legs, and Ye Han’s sword pierced his throat as purple-gold lightning immobilized his primordial spirit.
  • One cultivator was bound by the rope and another was beheaded, while the middle-aged cultivator saw a silver flash and realized the Heavenly Secret Soldiers had appeared behind Ye Han.

Ch. 460Heavenly Secret Soldier

Ye Han survived an attack by a Heavenly Secret Soldier by revealing a Heavenly Secret Token, which redirected the soldier toward his last Thousand Mountains School opponent. After looting the slain cultivators, he discovered their supplies completed his Thunderclap Art mission and began examining his spoils.

  • Ye Han ambushed the three wounded Thousand Mountains School cultivators, but a Heavenly Secret Soldier appeared and nearly struck him down; Ye Han dodged with Ghost Step Pace.
  • Ye Han showed the Heavenly Secret Token, and the Heavenly Secret Soldier killed the young cultivator bound by Ye Han's rope treasure before leaving.
  • Ye Han looted the three cultivators' Storage Bags, burned their corpses, and fled to another mountain to conceal himself.
  • Ye Han found forty-three ripe Azure Worry Spirit Fruits and eight bottles of Bloodbone Beast essence blood, completing the remaining Thunderclap Art mission requirements.
  • As Ye Han inspected his spoils, the Purple Cauldron trembled when he picked up an ordinary-looking medicinal herb.

Ch. 461Changes in the Purple Cauldron Space

Ye Han discovered that an unidentified pitch-black grass could grow inside the Purple Cauldron Space and increase its production of spiritual energy by thirty percent. He considered returning to the Heavenly Secret Hall to search for more treasures, but held back because of his injuries and the powerful cultivators and demon beasts nearby; while searching the Thousand Mountains School cultivators’ Storage Bags, he found a map of the hall.

  • The Purple Cauldron absorbed Ye Han’s pitch-black grass, which took root in its space and increased the spiritual energy it produced by thirty percent.
  • Ye Han tested other heavenly treasures from the Storage Bags and his own collection, but none could enter the Purple Cauldron Space.
  • Ye Han suspected the grass had come from the Heavenly Secret Hall and considered exploring it, since the Heavenly Secret Token kept its soldiers from attacking him.
  • Ye Han decided to delay his exploration because his injuries remained unhealed and Golden Core cultivators and powerful demon beasts might be near the hall.
  • Ye Han continued searching the three Thousand Mountains School cultivators’ Storage Bags and found a Heavenly Secret Hall Map.

Ch. 462A Reputation in Name Only

Ye Han looted three Thousand Mountains School Cultivators and discovered a map of the Heavenly Secret Hall, but he judged the treasures and dangers there too great to pursue yet. After several days of recovery, he had restored seventy percent of his depleted cultivation foundation and suspected the Heavenly Secret Token had another use.

  • Ye Han searched the three Thousand Mountains School Cultivators' Storage Bags, found evidence they had plundered many victims, and identified a map of the Heavenly Secret Hall.
  • Ye Han considered entering the Heavenly Secret Hall but decided to avoid its dangers and catalogued the treasures he had seized.
  • Ye Han sorted the Spirit Artifacts and Ancient Treasures, chose only a few to refine, and took a Yin-Yang Essence-Transmutation Pill to recover his cultivation foundation.
  • Ye Han spent four or five days hidden in the mountain and restored seventy percent of the foundation depleted by using the Azure Profound Divine Body.
  • Ye Han examined the Heavenly Secret Token and murmured that it must have another use.

Ch. 463Ye Han's resolve

Ye Han decided to risk pursuing the treasures in the Heavenly Secret Hall while cautiously gathering resources and information along the way. After hiding the Heavenly Secret Token inside his body and setting out in disguise, he spotted Black Mountain Cult members attacking a Heavenly Secret Soldier.

  • Ye Han resolved to seek the Heavenly Secret Hall’s opportunities but planned to proceed carefully and use trapped cultivators and demon beasts to gather resources and information.
  • Ye Han swallowed the Heavenly Secret Token so he could show it quickly if a Heavenly Secret Soldier attacked and keep other cultivators from noticing it.
  • Ye Han packed away his belongings, concealed his identity and aura, and left the mountain for the enormous mountain containing the Heavenly Secret Hall.
  • Ye Han heard explosions, approached a valley, and discovered more than a dozen Black Mountain Cult cultivators attacking a Heavenly Secret Soldier.

Ch. 464Would He Let Them Succeed?

Ye Han watched the Black Mountain Cult exhaust a Heavenly Secret Soldier and decided to stop them from defeating it. As the soldier was nearly overwhelmed, Ye Han silently attacked and decapitated one of the cult members.

  • Ye Han recognized the cultivators attacking the Heavenly Secret Soldier as members of the Black Mountain Cult and observed that the soldier’s silver light was fading.
  • The Black Mountain Cult members realized the Heavenly Secret Soldier had limited reserves and intensified their assault.
  • Ye Han suspected the Black Mountain Cult was backed by a sinister-path sect from Great Feng and linked it to the Zhuge Lineage.
  • Ye Han decided not to let the Black Mountain Cult succeed and moved silently down the cliff.
  • A Black Mountain Cult member was decapitated, startling the others.

Ch. 465Chaotic melee

Ye Han disrupted the Black Mountain Cult’s formation with help from the Binglian Puppet, allowing the Heavenly Secret Soldier to turn on the cultists. The Black Mountain Cult members scattered to evade it, but the Heavenly Secret Soldier ignored Ye Han and charged another cultivator.

  • Ye Han used a Dragon-Trapping Formation in the mountain forest to catch the fleeing Black-Robed Elder.
  • The Heavenly Secret Soldier entered the formation and battled the Black-Robed Elder as Ye Han controlled the formation and waited for him to weaken.
  • The Black-Robed Elder unleashed the Bloodfiend Straw Figure and other treasures, but Ye Han refused his offer to negotiate.

  • The Black-Robed Elder shed the straw armor and dodged the Heavenly Secret Soldier's sword-rays, while Ye Han asked, "Do you know who I am?"

Ch. 469All Dead!?

  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader revealed that more than a dozen Life Tokens had cracked, confirming the deaths of his subordinates, and suspected Ye Han or demon beasts had killed them.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader recalled Ye Han’s strength and cunning but could not understand how he could have killed sixteen Foundation Establishment cultivators so quickly.
  • Young Master Zhuge offered to help resolve the losses if the Black Mountain Cult Leader protected him and helped him reach the Heavenly Secret Hall.
  • The Black Mountain Cult Leader said they could not attempt the Heavenly Ladder while Xue Bing and Xue Xue were injured, and suggested they needed more Golden Core cultivators.
  • A violent tremor shook the cave, and the Black Mountain Cult Leader and Young Master Zhuge hurried outside to see who was braving the Heavenly Ladder.

Ch. 471Demon Kings

The Black Mountain Cult Leader and Young Master Zhuge discovered that their cavern lay beneath the floating mountain and saw Demon Kings and Qin Shanzun join forces to fight the Heavenly Secret Soldiers on the celestial stairway.
