Lynn remembered the scene he had once witnessed within Xiao Xiao's consciousness-the head being severed amid the flames.
He remembered the endless angels falling in the murals of the Holy World, and the eye that had opened in the sky.
He opened his eyes.
Then he remembered Sir Awen's desolate smile before his fall, as he faced that hopeless darkness alone.
And gradually, it overlapped with the scene before him.
A deafening howl rang out.
High above, the immense, incorporeal psionic giant threw back his head. Howling madly with hatred, he charged straight into the darkness that blotted out the sky, like a bolt of lightning piercing the heavens, almost the only flash of light beneath that vast night.

The entire earth trembled, and the endless Blood Mist churned with a thunderous roar.
Yet the enormous projected planet continued to burn furiously as it teetered on the brink of collapse. They could even clearly see the undead constantly turning to ash.

Because they all had unfinished obsessions and hatred buried deep within their hearts.
