A resolve that defied death flashed in those silver eyes. She gritted her teeth and dragged her battered, colossal body into another upward leap.
She tore madly through every obstacle in her path.
As they continued upstream, more and more lingering images and imprints began to manifest. Each was twisted beyond description, and they grew increasingly ancient. By now, they could be absolutely certain that these imprints of fallen gods might well have come from the same era.
They might have been even older-gods who had fallen into this Hell and been devoured and absorbed during the endless ages before this era began!

Streaks of blood-red lightning slashed through the thick black mist. Each seemed to carry the immense power of laws, and even the enormous Colossus looked increasingly insignificant within that dense fog. They were like a tiny boat sailing through the deepest reaches of a mist-shrouded sea, liable to be swallowed by its towering waves at any moment.
