Arc 5Sakazuki’s New Order

Sakazuki shaped the Navy’s influence across the New World, defeating rivals and advancing the Shichibukai plan while monitoring Dragon and the scholars. The arc ended with Sakazuki testing Teach’s ability to eat multiple Devil Fruits after Kaido received mechanical lungs.

  • Sakazuki captured Kaido and brought him to Punk Hazard for Vegapunk’s experiments, but Kaido escaped and the Five Elders punished Sakazuki.

  • Kong led the Marines to Liberty Island, where Garp helped him capture Redfield after their battle left Kong and Redfield badly wounded.
  • Sakazuki’s Court-Plowing Operation drew public attention as his forces killed pirates, while he told a soldier that their work could let people sail without fear.
  • Rolka gave Robin his book Industrial Revolution and explained how technological progress could eventually challenge the World Government, while Sakazuki continued the North Blue campaign despite Carol’s concern for Robin.
