The Black and Red Factions clashed, and Siegfried gave his heart to save the Artificial Lifeform, who named himself Sieg and began choosing his own future. As Ruler questioned the Black Faction and Jack the Ripper’s murders drew attention, Mordred and Kairi Shishigou were ambushed in Sighișoara.

• Sovell recognized Mordred in Avicebron’s images, reunited with her, and gave her clothes while the Black Faction learned that a homunculus had escaped.
• Jack the Ripper killed Sagara Hyoma, contracted with Reika Rikudou, and helped summon Gawain, while Ruler encountered Karna and witnessed him fight Siegfried before he withdrew.
• The Red Faction attacked the Black Faction, and Spartacus rampaged toward Yggdmillennia Castle as the opposing Servants fought across the battlefield.
• Astolfo fled with the Artificial Lifeform, but Siegfried and Gordes caught them, after Astolfo urged the boy to fight for his life, Siegfried defied Gordes and gave the boy his heart, then returned to the Throne of Heroes.
• The revived homunculus named himself Sieg, and Astolfo encouraged him to choose his own future, while Sovell gathered the Black Faction and confined Astolfo.
• Jeanne d'Arc questioned the Black Faction about the battle and its treatment of Homunculi, while reports of murders and black flames in Bucharest led Darnic to suspect Servants were responsible.
• Darnic sent Sovell to retrieve Mordred and Kairi Shishigou from Sighișoara as they investigated victims whose hearts had been removed.
• Jack the Ripper and Gawain ambushed Mordred and Shishigou with poisonous fog, and Mordred chased Jack into the wilderness and found Gawain waiting with a Holy Sword.

Sovell led the Black Faction against the Red Faction as the Greater Grail was taken and Avicebron unleashed the Primordial Giant. After the giant fell, Sieg survived his mortal wounds and transformed, discovering three black Command Spells on his left hand and a dragon-like presence behind him.

• Gawain and Mordred fought until Sovell stopped them, while Jeanne d’Arc found Sieg and pledged to help him pursue freedom for the homunculi.
• Sieg asked Jeanne to train him, and the Black Faction prepared to face the Red Faction as both sides converged on the battlefield near Yggdmillennia Castle.
• The Red Faction attacked the Black Faction, but Amakusa Shirou Tokisada ordered a retreat after Jack the Ripper nearly killed Shakespeare, while Sovell recalled Mordred’s past and could not bring himself to punish her.
• The Hanging Gardens of Babylon extracted the Greater Grail, and Celenike used Command Spells to force Astolfo to attack Sieg and the homunculi until Sieg killed her and formed a new contract with Astolfo.
• Avicebron used Roche as the core for Crown: Light of Wisdom, creating the Primordial Giant, while Jeanne d’Arc and the Black Faction joined battle against the Red Faction.
• Chiron killed Avicebron, but the Primordial Giant absorbed him and grew stronger, and Achilles fell to Sovell’s Rhongomyniad, and Sovell later defeated him with his Mystic Eyes.
• Sieg, Frankenstein, Astolfo, Sovell, and Mordred coordinated their attacks to expose and destroy the Primordial Giant’s Spirit Cores and Garden of Eden, defeating it as dawn broke.
• Sieg’s body repaired itself after he was judged beyond hope, and he disappeared before Siegfried appeared in his place, and Sieg then confirmed his identity and discovered three black Command Spells on his left hand alongside a dragon-like presence.

Sovell, Sieg, and their allies defeated Amakusa Shirou and settled the remaining duels before Vivian saved Sieg from his dragon-factor erosion. The story then shifted to a new operation, with Sovell and Artoria leading four young Masters toward a leyline threat in Siberia.

• Sieg drew Balmung with Siegfried’s heart and gained the hero’s abilities, then helped Sovell and the others oppose Amakusa Shirou’s plan.
• Sovell and Karna fought inside the Hanging Gardens while Jeanne d’Arc pursued Amakusa through the Greater Grail and stopped him from connecting to it.
• Mordred overcame Shakespeare’s illusion and defeated Semiramis with Gawain, while Gawain and Mordred later fought a duel that Gawain won using his Third Noble Phantasm.
• Sieg defeated Gawain in their duel by spending his final Dragon Proclamation Command Spell, then collapsed from the strain of his powers.
• Sovell warned Kriemhild that Sieg’s dragon-factor erosion could worsen, and Vivian repaired Sieg before he and Kriemhild summoned Siegfried.
• Sovell and Artoria joined Kiritsugu Emiya and Tokiomi Tohsaka’s plan to send Rin, Sakura, Illya, and Shirou against a leyline threat, with the group preparing to travel to Siberia.
• Kiritsugu Emiya gave the young Masters Holy Relics, but Shirou returned his, and Sovell and Artoria pledged to protect him.
• Sovell, Artoria, and the four children traveled through Beijing and Russia to Yakutsk, where Artoria ordered an enormous breakfast and Ivan asked a waiter to decipher his notes.
