The sound of the two men arguing drew Joy over from Mars Module Two.
Hearing Bruno's final remark, Joy froze for a moment.
A few seconds later, she recovered.
"Captain, Bruno is right."
"NASA recommended that we give you some antidepressants."
Andrew: "..."
He looked at Joy resentfully. "Isn't that a bit excessive...?"
Joy nodded earnestly. "Captain, this isn't excessive."
"Plenty of astronauts develop mental health problems even aboard Earth's space stations, let alone here on Mars."
"To prevent any unexpected incidents, NASA even supplied us with sedatives. If necessary..."
"Enough, enough!" Andrew shivered slightly and said irritably, "Let's just say I misspoke, all right?"
As he spoke, Andrew turned back to the computer screen in front of him. "It's about time. We should transmit the drilling results from the past few days to NASA."
"Ah..." Bruno sighed beside him and rubbed his aching shoulders. "What exactly are we drilling holes on Mars every day for?"
Joy replied, "Didn't NASA say it was to search for traces of life on Mars?"
"Yeah, right..." Bruno rolled his eyes in exasperation. "You actually believed NASA's bullshit?"
"Look at how many holes we've drilled over the past few days."
"If you ask me, there's nothing beneath Utopia Plain except ice!"
While Bruno was complaining, a batch of data was transmitted to Earth via satellite.
After returning from his visit to the Head Councillor, Lü Yongchang sat behind his desk, quietly reading through research data and papers on quantum communication.
Time waited for no one. Even though it was not yet time to crack Quantum Communication Technology, he still needed to keep learning about it.
"Professor, I've intercepted the latest data from the United States' Pathfinder Program."
Zero's distinctive synthesized voice broke the silence in the office.
"Hmm?" Lü Yongchang raised an eyebrow
