After Shisui took over as Hokage, nothing in Konoha changed drastically.
He processed documents faster than Tsunade because the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan let him read ten lines at a glance.
After reviewing them, he left a comment at the end of each document in neat handwriting.
Itachi became the Anbu Captain.
By day, he practiced with his sword on the Uchiha Grounds; by night, he donned a mask and vanished into the Village's shadows.

Neither held back when they sparred, and the sparks from their clashing blades shone especially bright in the dusk.
Later, rumors began circulating through the Hokage Building.
"Lord Hokage practiced with Lady Yugao again today."
"Lady Yugao wore Lord Hokage's robe out to dinner with him again today."
"When will they get together? When will they get together? When..."
