It was several kilometers from the city, isolated on an island and surrounded by sea. The air was damp, the environment gloomy. It truly was not a pleasant place.
But Li Wei had the Kiramman family looking after him.
Caitlyn had put in a word beforehand, so no one in the prison dared make things difficult for him.
He was assigned a relatively spacious cell. It was still dark and damp, but at least it had been cleaned fairly well.

Stillwater Prison's interior was quite spacious, and sound carried exceptionally well.
The prisoners had no work to do and weren't even granted outdoor time. All day long, they could only sit blankly in their cells, each one more bored than the last.
So the moment Li Wei moved in, quite a few inmates strained to stick their heads through the bars and shouted their voices across the distance, eager to get acquainted with the newcomer.
"Tell us, how'd you get in here?"
"Assault," Li Wei answered casually.
"Tch, boring." One inmate sounded displeased. Their only entertainment was listening to stories, but the beginning of Li Wei's story did not sound very interesting.
Still, Li Wei was rather interested
