Zhang Lexuan was born into a noble family in the Heaven Dou Empire. More than a decade before the events in Heaven Dou City, her entire family was slaughtered overnight. Mu En happened to pass by and saved her. To obtain revenge, she pledged herself to Shrek Academy, and Mu En helped her avenge her family. The memory continues to cause her grief long after her enemies’ deaths 81.

Her obligations to Mu En originally involved a promise connected to Bei Bei. She describes her commitment as honoring the promise made after Mu En saved her life. Mu En later proposes that she assist Chen Tianyuan instead, explaining that he has been selected as a future Sea God Pavilion Master; she agrees 18 29.
