Boom! A deafening crash rang out!
Under the relentless draining of the five Ranger Bodyguards, the Infernal, over four meters tall, finally collapsed with a crash into a heap of rocks still flickering with faint green fel fire. The weak green flames on the stones slowly died out, while a small wisp of green flame hovered half a meter above the top of the uneven rubble. That tiny flame remained trapped at the center of a pale blue sphere of arcane light, unable to move.
The five Bodyguards who had finally drained the Infernal dry were all flushed red, as though the immense energy inside them was about to make them burst.

They needed to record every last detail at each important stage-the more detail, the better. Timing, changes, the subjects' condition: all of it would be vital raw data for future research.
As they headed out, everyone else jumped down into the pit to examine the Infernal Soul's original form up close. Some Mages recorded it with recording crystals, while others wrote in notebooks.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk also jumped into the pit for a closer look. He was genuinely curious about what this so-called Infernal Soul looked like. Surely it was not just a ball of green flame!
Once Yu Lin Bloodhawk drew closer, he finally discovered that there was indeed more to the green fel fire than met the eye. The fire truly was only an outer covering that protected the Infernal Soul.
At the center of the green flame floated a translucent, dark
