The orcs were brave and fearless, their nerves unyielding. Though every retreating step trod through the blood and lives of their brethren, their footsteps remained just as firm.

As the orc forces drew inward, their formation gradually became a circular position ringed by enormous shields. The shrinking perimeter made the spears and arrows of the Hinterlands' Eastern Burning Legion increasingly ineffective. By the time the orc formation stabilized, the trolls' throwing spears and the elves' arrows were doing scarcely any damage.

The Orcs Commander finally breathed a sigh of relief. Only then did he have time to examine their opponents. One look sent the confidence he had just recovered plunging into despair.

Around the orc position, countless blue-skinned creatures slowly rose to their feet. They had long tusks and long ears, carried throwing spears or long blades, and had five or six more spears strapped to their backs.

Trolls? The Orcs Commander could hardly believe his eyes.

Since when were trolls so well equipped?

He noticed that all these trolls wore the same standard-issue equipment.

After spending so long in this world, the orcs had learned at least something about Azeroth. Every troll they had seen before had been poorly equipped and dressed in a motley assortment of gear. None had looked like these trolls. Where had they come from?

His gaze swept past the trolls, and what he saw next was even more incredible: behind them stood nothing but high elves.

The Orcs Commander felt as though the world had turned upside down. Aren't high elves and trolls sworn enemies? Why are they here together? Their gear is clearly identical. Did the trolls join an elven army, or did the elves join a troll army? He felt as though his brain was about to short-circuit.
