"Halt!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk raised his hand high and shouted, "Bring up my Ita... my ballistas! Aim where the quilboar are packed thickest!"
Luckily, Yu Lin Bloodhawk caught himself in time! Otherwise, if he had blurted out Li Yunlong's Italian cannon, Sylvanas would probably have rolled her eyes at him hard enough to flay him alive again.
Clunk! Clunk! Clunk! Clunk!
Two assembled ballistas, already cocked and loaded, were slowly rolled out from behind the City Lord's Household Guard. The soldiers standing ready in formation parted down the middle like a pair of gates.
The already restless quilboar stirred uneasily once more.
"Willyx! Go tell them to surrender!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk shouted, as smug and triumphant as a god.
Since coming to Azeroth, Yu Lin Bloodhawk had never commanded a battle with victory so firmly in his grasp. He had commanded a few fights against trolls before, but trolls were far better organized than these quilboar. As for orcs, they were not to be trifled with at all. He would have preferred to stay as far away from them as possible.
Only these backward quilboar had given Yu Lin Bloodhawk a chance to swagger around without restraint. Had they been highly mobile centaurs instead, he probably would not have dared act so arrogantly!
The little goblin Willyx strutted out in front of the formation, brimming with confidence, and jabbered loudly at the quilboar opposite him in his characteristically shrill goblin voice.
Willyx was also tremendously excited. This was not his first visit to Kalimdor. Before moving to the Hinterlands, he had traveled all over the world doing business as an importer.
Back then, however, he had ventured out into the world alone. It was easy to imagine the hardships and dangers he had faced.
Especially on the continent of Kalimdor,
