Yu Lin returned to Shalandis Isle to develop his territory and investigate suspicious cargo, where he learned of a sickly high elf called a Wretched.

• Yu Lin Bloodhawk and Sylvanas ambushed and destroyed Vilebranch relief forces, then used Dragonhawk Riders and hidden troops to trap a larger army in the valley and bomb it.
• Sylvanas led the assault on Jintha'Alor, where the Dragonhawks bombed the city and the elves routed its defenders while directing civilians and disarmed trolls along the road.
• Yu Lin Bloodhawk and Sylvanas took the upper tiers, forced surviving soldiers to swear allegiance or leave, and organized the loyal trolls into battalions and police units.

Yu Lin Bloodhawk built Jintha'Alor into a fortified settlement, negotiated with the Wildhammer Dwarves, and prepared for the coming war while political trouble forced him out of Quel'Thalas. The arc left him leading Quel'Danil as exiled High Elves arrived and he worked to equip and control the growing community.

• Yu Lin Bloodhawk traded information about the Dark Portal with Antonidas for ships, gryphons, and gold, then arranged for a Wretched high elf to be studied at Falthrien Academy.
• Yu Lin Bloodhawk recruited Treants and Trolls, expanded his forces and supplies, and developed owl soul links for rogues and mages.
• Yu Lin Bloodhawk warned Quel'Thalas that arcane addiction threatened every High Elf and rallied soldiers and civilians to protect the people, the Sunwell's water, and the Academy's research.

Yu Lin Bloodhawk turned Quel'Danil and the harbor into a refuge while preparing for the coming war and revealing what he knew of Quel'Thalas's future to Sylvanas and Alleria. After Alleria returned to Quel'Thalas, he focused on food production, boar breeding, and a secret research institute, while planning to go back to Quel'Thalas and Shalandis Isle.

• Yu Lin Bloodhawk handed Quel'Danil over to the incoming elves, laid out rules for settling and governing the city, and strengthened the harbor's defenses.
• Yu Lin Bloodhawk discussed military aid and future plans with Alleria and Sylvanas, revealing his predictions about the war, the Sunwell, and Sylvanas's fate.

Yu Lin Bloodhawk organized the arrival of Stormwind refugees while building Quel'Danil’s settlements and negotiating funding with Sylvanas and Antonidas. The arc ended with Yu Lin planning to seek a cure for Arcane Concealment in Kalimdor and asking Sylvanas whether ancestors mattered.

• Yu Lin Bloodhawk arranged harbor defenses, refugee settlements, and troop training, then summoned Quel'Danil’s council to plan the city’s development.
• Tom reported that nearly ten thousand starving refugees had reached the harbor, and Yu Lin Bloodhawk organized food, shelter, and security for them.
