As the system notification faded, the space in front of the dueling platform warped, and a burly figure with bulging muscles and a greatsword in hand slowly took shape.
"Roar!"
The moment the First Boss of Black Wind Stronghold appeared, he let out a deafening roar, his blood-red eyes locking onto Su Ye at the other end of the platform.
Without a single wasted movement, his massive body lunged forward, swinging his greatsword down at Su Ye.
Gales howled. Before the blade even reached him, a bloody stench and terrifying pressure crashed over him.
"Bring it on!"
Su Ye's eyes turned cold. Rather than retreat, he advanced.
He pushed off hard, unleashing the explosive power granted by the Black Wind Cloud Boots. His entire body became a black afterimage as he charged straight toward the First Boss's blade.

A deafening clash of metal erupted across the platform.
Holding his spear with both hands, Su Ye braced its shaft firmly against the greatsword crashing down at his head.
"Impressive strength. Just what you'd expect from a boss. But that's all you've got."
Su Ye snorted coldly, twisted his waist, and forcibly shoved the First Boss's greatsword aside.
Then his hands moved like lightning, his spear becoming a black dragon surging out of the sea as it thrust straight at the First Boss's throat.

The spear tip tore through the air with a sharp, cold gleam, leaving a bloody gash deep enough to expose bone across the First Boss of Black Wind Stronghold's chest.
The First Boss roared in pain and fury. His greatsword became an impenetrable web of blades as he launched a counterattack against Su Ye.
