"First, supply storage."
"We'll provide you with Storage Rings so you can store more supplies and avoid being forced to discard precious resources because you lack space."
"Second, Function Modules."
"We'll provide you with various Function Modules to help you upgrade your vehicle and improve your chances of taking first place in the novice period mileage rankings."
"Third, attribute items."
"Once your vehicle gets faster, your reflexes and physical fitness may not be able to adapt quickly, since you haven't had any professional training in this area."
"So you need to improve your attributes. Only when your body can keep up with your vehicle's speed will you be able to unleash its full potential."
After hearing this, Su Ye smiled.
All three areas hit the mark. They were exactly what he needed most right now.
Storage Rings and attribute items, in particular, addressed his greatest shortcomings.
"The higher-ups really have thought of everything. Improving my attributes is especially important."
Su Ye couldn't help sighing. "You have no idea. The second Function Module I installed was Sprint."
"That thing can instantly multiply my speed by five for ten minutes."
"I tried it this morning, and as soon as the speed kicked in, the terrifying force pressing me back into my seat and the visual overload made me black out on and off for ten seconds."
"I was lucky that stretch of road was straight and clear of obstacles. Otherwise, those ten seconds of losing consciousness would've wrecked the vehicle and killed me."
Li Xin and the five team members behind him were all alarmed by Su Ye's words.
Thank goodness Su Ye was fine. Otherwise, their spark plan would have been snuffed out before it even got going.
Li Xin understood better than anyone how strategically important Su Ye was to Great Xia and even the entire Blue Star Civilization.
He was the only player from humanity who had slipped into the Fivefold Race's survival game-their one and only spark.
"Comrade Su Ye!"
Li Xin's tone instantly became stern, with even a hint of pleading.
"You must be more careful about things like this from now on. You absolutely cannot gamble with your life again."
"And please rest assured, we've already assembled a top-tier logistics and advisory team for you, made up of academy fellows and elite professionals from every field."
"Based on your current circumstances and changes to the Road Survival Game's rules, they'll provide you with safer, more scientifically sound survival plans."
"You're not fighting alone. All of Great Xia stands behind you."
Seeing Li Xin's anxious, serious expression, Su Ye felt warmth well up inside him.
"Don't worry. I understand. I'll make sure I stay safe and won't act recklessly again."
Only after seeing that Su Ye had taken his words to heart did Li Xin breathe a slight sigh of relief, his expression easing.
"Good. Then let's go over the resources the six of us can provide this time."
Li Xin pointed to himself, then to the five team members behind him.
"I have a Storage Ring with ten cubic meters of space."
"If you kill me and it drops, just bring it close to the Storage Ring you already have. They'll automatically merge and expand the storage space."
"Then there are my team members."
"Between them, they brought two Function Modules and one ten-cubic-meter Storage Ring."
"Along with a headband that increases my Mental Attribute by one point and a piece of equipment that increases my Physique by one point."
Li Xin paused here. "We're only the first batch of couriers. You'll encounter two more groups of our comrades from Great Xia along the road today."
"If you have any special requirements after that, let us know in advance. The higher-ups will do everything they can to coordinate and arrange them."
Su Ye was delighted.
Two ten-cubic-meter Storage Rings, combined with his original ten-cubic-meter ring, would give him a full thirty cubic meters of space if they all merged.
Those thirty cubic meters would be enough to hold the enormous stockpile of supplies he had left in the trading interface because he lacked the room to withdraw them.
And there were two pieces of attribute-boosting equipment, too.
Once he obtained them, his attributes would break past the five-point threshold, putting him on the same starting line as those of the Fivefold Race.
"Are there no items that permanently increase attributes?"
Su Ye asked curiously.
Equipment was useful, but it was still external. He could only advance to Tier One once all his own attributes reached ten points.
If there were fruits or potions he could consume to permanently increase his attributes, that would naturally be even better.
Li Xin shook his head, a trace of helplessness flashing in his eyes.
"Items that permanently increase attributes can't spawn on civilization monsters like us. That's a restriction the game rules impose on us."
"Only primitive monsters native to the road game have a chance of dropping them."
"Or, if you're lucky, you might find them in Supply Crates, or buy them at certain special roadside service areas."
"For now, the most we can provide is equipment with attribute bonuses."
Su Ye understood. It was a shame they couldn't permanently increase his attributes, but obtaining attribute-boosting equipment this early was already pretty good.
"Then I'll explain my situation too, so the logistics team can assess it."
Su Ye began reporting his circumstances.
"After nearly driving myself into the afterlife earlier, I really came to understand how important my own attributes are."
"I used the Mutant Wild Boar meat from my earlier hunt to trade for some Mutated Meat Chunks with other players in the trading channel."
"After eating it to improve my attributes, my Physique is now at 4.9, and my Mental Attribute is at 3.1."
"Also, when I opened a Supply Crate this morning, a Zero-Tier Big-Headed Toad Monster came out."
"After killing him, I got a necklace that increases my Mental Attribute by one point."
"So my effective Mental Attribute is now 4.1."
Su Ye described his circumstances in detail, holding nothing back.
After hearing Su Ye's report on his stats, a hint of surprise appeared on Li Xin's face.
"I didn't expect your attributes to improve so quickly, Comrade Su Ye."
Li Xin couldn't help praising him.
It was only the morning of the survival game's second day. Many players couldn't even get enough to eat, let alone hunt monsters and trade Mutated Meat Chunks to improve their attributes.
With the two pieces of equipment they had prepared, Su Ye's Physique would reach 5.9 and his Spirit would reach 5.1. He would have a fighting chance against a lone member of the Fivefold Race.
"We've recorded your situation in detail. We'll report it to the higher-ups as soon as we return."
"Then let's not waste any more time. Let's begin."
"Oh, right. We've already sorted out the supplies in this factory building and left them inside for you."
"Once you're finished, go in and collect them."
After giving these final instructions, Li Xin turned to the five team members behind him.
"All hands!"
"Attack!"
