"Sigh, I should save him after all! If he ends up with a woman like Yuki Tsukumo keeping him in line, getting him to work for free might become a bit of a hassle!
Besides, if I save him this time, he'll owe me another favor. Why wouldn't I?"
Having made up her mind, Mei Mei leaped upward like a nimble swallow, using the balconies to quickly reach the floor where Yuanfang and Yuki were.
Inside the room, Yuki Tsukumo and Yuanfang were locked in a kiss.
Yuki Tsukumo's face was flushed, and excitement surged through her.
This was her first step toward the world she envisioned, and now it looked as though she was about to succeed.
Crash!
But before she could enjoy herself for long, someone smashed through the window.
A black silhouette snatched Yuanfang away before she could react.
"You're breaking the law here, you know, senior!"
Only upon hearing that voice did Yuki Tsukumo recognize the intruder.
Silver-haired Mei Mei stood there holding Yuanfang, grinning mischievously at her.
"We're both willing participants. You're the one in the wrong for interrupting us!"
Though Yuki Tsukumo was furious inside, she wore a sly smile.
She was confident she could take Yuanfang back from Mei Mei.
"Oh dear, someone's getting handsy!"
Just as Mei Mei was about to answer Yuki Tsukumo, Yuanfang somehow wriggled free of her grasp.
He wrapped his arms around her, his hands slithering over her body like snakes.
Smack! Smack!
Two hefty slaps later, Yuanfang's eyes instantly cleared.
The drug Yuki Tsukumo had used wasn't harmful to his body; it merely stimulated his desires.
There was no need for a woman's intimate attention to bring him back to normal!
"Sorry!"
Yuanfang let go of Mei Mei and rubbed his burning cheeks, utterly speechless.
Those two slaps had really hurt. How could Mei Mei bring herself to strike someone as handsome as him?
"It's fine. If you were clearheaded, I wouldn't mind you doing that to me!"
Mei Mei spoke with an ambiguous smile, making it impossible to tell whether she meant it.
But Yuanfang knew perfectly well that she was most likely teasing him.
He didn't dwell on it. Instead, he looked at Yuki Tsukumo with an irritated gaze and said,
"I treated you as a friend, but all you wanted was my body! You really went too far this time!"
Though that was what he said, Yuanfang thought,
If you hadn't drugged me and had just made a move, I might have said yes!
"What did you say? I didn't quite catch that!"
Seeing that Yuanfang had recovered, Yuki Tsukumo immediately played dumb.
"I said..."
"Oh my, look at the time! I have something to do, so I'll be off. Bye, Mei Mei!"
Before Yuanfang could finish, Yuki Tsukumo made up an excuse, gave Mei Mei a meaningful look, and made herself scarce.
Yuanfang was speechless. This woman was far too shameless.
"Looks like I've earned Senior Yuki Tsukumo's resentment. How are you going to compensate me, little brother?"
Looking at the mischievous smile tugging at Mei Mei's lips, Yuanfang silently cursed,
These two women may be beautiful, but they're both bad women.
Until I'm invincible, there's no escaping this unpaid labor.
"Whatever you say."
"Good. Saving your life wasn't a waste, then! Come on, we have a mission!"
Mei Mei beamed at his response. Her decision this time had paid off nicely.
"Sigh!"
Yuanfang heaved a heavy sigh, as helpless as if a mountain were pressing down on him, and could only follow silently behind Mei Mei.
He had just been through something so terrifying, yet she wouldn't even let him take a break before putting him back to work. What a bad woman.
When they reached the lobby, the receptionist watched Yuanfang trail silently behind a silver-haired, mature beauty, his cheeks as red as ripe apples, and muttered inwardly,
Caught cheating again!
Bang!
As Yuki Tsukumo drove away after her escape, she could no longer contain her anger and punched the steering wheel hard.
Her plan had been flawless, and success had been within reach.
Then Mei Mei had appeared out of nowhere and ruined everything, instantly igniting her fury.
Normally, she wouldn't have been so hasty to make a move on Yuanfang, but she had heard that he had been attacked twice and nearly died.
That was why she had rushed to find him and make a contribution toward a wonderful future.
"Phew... forget it. Rushing things too much isn't good either! This outcome isn't so bad!"
Yuki Tsukumo took a deep breath, trying to calm her anger. After thinking it over carefully, she decided the current situation wasn't bad at all.
She felt sure that a hot-blooded young brat like Yuanfang would be stirred up after experiencing her first kiss.
Before long, he would probably come looking for her himself, wanting to experience that feeling again.
"Hehe!"
At that thought, a sly smile involuntarily curled her lips.
Unfortunately, while an ordinary hot-blooded young man would indeed have struggled to calm down,
Yuanfang was anything but ordinary. His mind was as mature as that of an old man who had seen it all.
Although he had never experienced anything like that before, he could still keep his restlessness well under control.
Two months later.
The Tokyo Sister Goodwill Event finally arrived for Yuanfang and the others, and everyone exchanged greetings on a wooden bridge.
"We meet again, Yuanfang!"
Mai swayed gracefully like a willow in the breeze as she slowly approached Yuanfang and greeted him warmly.
Everyone's eyes instinctively turned toward them.
"Yeah, it's been a while!"
Yuanfang replied politely with a smile.
"Once today's competition is over, will you have any time tonight?"
"What for?"
Yuanfang kept his expression composed, but he knew perfectly well that Mai was putting on this whole act for Maki, hoping to see her get angry.
With a question like that, she was definitely about to invite him to dinner!
"Could I ask you out to dinner tonight?"
Mai wore the bashful expression of a girl who had mustered all her courage to invite the person she liked.
"Forget it. We're having dinner together tonight, so he's not free!"
Before Yuanfang could answer, Kugisaki grabbed his arm, turning Mai down on his behalf while staking her claim.
"That's fine. You should be free the day after tomorrow, right?"
Seeing Kugisaki's reaction, Mai continued with a mischievous grin.
"He still won't be free, so forget it!"
Without giving Yuanfang a chance to speak, Kugisaki firmly rejected Mai's invitation.
The people from Kyoto Academy knew very well that Mai's twisted idea of fun was teasing others.
Right now, she probably had no real intention of inviting Yuanfang out. She just wanted to watch Kugisaki guard him like a mother hen.
