Yuji Itadori caught up with Kento Nanami, and the two slowly followed the cursed residue the killer had left behind.

Several times, the boy tried to strike up a conversation with the man ahead of him, but his unapproachable attitude left Itadori at a loss.

This was the second time he had found this older man hard to get along with...

And so, one following the other, they reached the last place where the cursed energy residue appeared.

It was a rooftop, and everywhere they looked, glaring red filled their vision.

Severed limbs, spilled organs, and shredded flesh lay in heaps. Every so often, they could even spot an intact eyeball amid the carnage.

Though Itadori had experienced plenty since joining Jujutsu High, the sight still made him feel sick.

Nanami looked around and, sure enough, found Kamo Xu sitting on a nearby bench, his head bowed as he massaged his temples.

"Sir, you really did take care of the problem before we arrived."

Just what I would expect of Kamo. He was always so efficient...

But the carnage before them... did not seem to have come from just one cursed spirit. At least forty or so must have gathered here.

Otherwise, their leftover flesh would not have piled up into mountains.

At the sound of his voice, Kamo Xu slowly opened his eyes. A vicious gleam flashed through them and vanished. Clearly, he had yet to come down from the slaughter.

He glanced sideways at Nanami. "Ah... Nanamin."

"Sorry. That bastard seemed to sense I was coming and ran off early, leaving these abominations behind."

Nanami looked at Kamo Xu, puzzled by his condition, but said nothing more.

He turned toward the heaps of flesh, hoping to find some clues about the killer.

But Kamo Xu stopped him outright.
