A sudden accident leaves a world-hopping transmigrator evenly smeared across the road.

Kamo Asahi raises both hands to his face, concealing it completely as he activates his cursed energy. Blood gushes out in a frenzy, forming a suit of armor that can shift and contort at his will. "I suppose this is where I say 'Happy Birthday,' Mahito."

(This story sets its protagonist up as a direct counterpart to Mahito: one cannot be killed by physical damage, while the other cannot be killed by damage to the soul.)
