Kamo Xu’s search for a way to restore Suguru Geto is derailed by the truth about his mother and the jujutsu authorities’ execution order. While Kamo Xu is away, the Yasohachi Bridge battle pits Itadori’s group against Junpei and the Death Painting brothers, ending with Riko Amanai’s domain attack on Choso.

• Kamo Xu planned to use Mahito, Geto’s body, and his own long-life curse to restore Geto, but a Binding Vow stopped him from killing Kenjaku as he searched the city for victims.
• Kamo Xu rescued Nagi Yoshino, but Junpei mistook him for the attacker, poisoned him, and carried his mother away, and Yang Xu later took control of Kamo Xu’s body.
• The jujutsu authorities revoked Kamo Xu’s rights and ordered Yuta Okkotsu to execute him, prompting Satoru Gojo to confront Gakuganji before the Goodwill Event was interrupted by Hanami stealing Sukuna’s Fingers and the cursed wombs.
• Kamo Xu learned that his mother’s binding vow and curse had revived him after he died at birth, then found her letter asking him to be happy and resolved with Yang Xu to kill every cursed spirit.
• At Yasohachi Bridge, Eso and Junpei fought Riko Amanai, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, while Junpei blamed sorcerers and Kamo Xu for his mother’s coma.
• Choso joined the battle to avenge his brothers, but Nobara used Resonance to injure the Death Painting brothers as Yuji fought Choso and Junpei confronted him.
• Riko Amanai protected Nobara and Megumi from Choso, then trapped Choso in her domain and unleashed Blood Scorch · Red Surge Crossing Evil.
