Arc 13Tsunade’s Last Stand

Aokiji defeated Shinno and helped Suiren seal Moryo, then returned to Konoha amid Danzo’s plots and fought Kakuzu. Danzo’s trap led to Tsunade’s death, and Aokiji awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan as he faced the enemy forces.

Arc 14Aokiji Returns to Konoha

After Aokiji’s apparent death, he emerged from the Ice Egg years later and returned to Konoha, where he reunited with the Uchiha and took Sasuke as his disciple. He warned Fugaku about the coup and revealed his plan to avenge Tsunade’s death, while Itachi’s choices brought him closer to the Uchiha massacre.
