Krogg, the giant sea turtle, asked in his slow, measured voice.
"Without a doubt, these are the infamous Determined Exterminators." Xi Yan slapped his forehead in frustration, looking thoroughly irritated. "Vanye is right. We have to band together to resist these insane toasters."
Senka Vanye nodded his avian head gravely. "On that subject, I have something to say."
The human and the turtle quietly waited for him to continue.
"The XT-489 Extermination Unit first established contact with our Zirick Cooperative. Their main fleet has already entered our territory, and I will be moving our main fleet to engage them."
"So I hope you can keep the M'tok Union in check. If those Stone People discover that my main fleet is away, they are very likely to join the XT-489 Extermination Unit in attacking me from both sides."
"I'm entrusting my rear to you, for our common safety and interests!"
Senka Vanye bowed his head.
"We'll keep the Stone People in check," Xi Yan said, roping his old friend Krogg, the Nier leader, into the promise as well.
"However, neither of our countries will actively declare war on the Stone People. That costs extra."
