The L-Cluster.
Today was a day full of energy! A lucky day!
The Gray Tempest had all headed off to the Milky Way Galaxy, leaving the L-Cluster exceptionally quiet and peaceful today.
There were no wakes left by fleets rushing back and forth, nor any noise from their subspace communications. Everything was so tranquil.
So tranquil it hardly felt real.
Was this really the L-Cluster I knew?
Little Gray emerged from the Nanite World at the terminal exit and looked around curiously.
Empire Will was away, too, and had not attended to the Dessanu Concordat for a long time, simply leaving the nanites to run things on their own.
Ever since joining the Sea of Stars Community recently, Empire Will had been busy communicating with the other empires there.
Honestly... Gray Tempest wanted to communicate with other consciousnesses, too, but Empire Will believed the situation in the Sea of Stars was unstable and would not let her go out.
It made sense, though. With the Gray Tempest unleashed, there was no imagining how chaotic the Milky Way Galaxy had become.
Gray Tempest suddenly realized that the L-Dragons, the Gray Tempest, and Empire Will were all away from the L-Cluster.
Did that mean she was the only one left in this enormous L-Cluster?
Woohoo! The parents weren't home! Time to play!
Gray Tempest excitedly transformed into a Nanite Mothership, then immediately sank into thought.
What was I still doing here, then?
There was very little entertainment in the L-Cluster. Was she supposed to carry on the Gray Tempest tradition and fly another circuit of the L-Cluster to patrol her territory?
Then, rather than stay here and keep enduring the loneliness, why not be a little bolder...
Gray Tempest turned her gaze toward the silent L-Gate.
