The Gray Tempest was clearly far more dangerous than it was in the game...
At the Sea of Stars Community, Xi Yan sat in his seat, privately mulling things over as he watched the Xindari Triumvirate denounce another nation's betrayal from the podium.
The situation could very well spiral out of control. The second-generation Gray Tempest was clearly more intelligent than the first, consciously expanding its own power.
Even destroying the Nanites Factory might not wipe them out completely.
The Gray Tempest might be able to build a new Nanites Factory-once it had established a foothold in the Milky Way, it would no longer rely on the factory in the L-Cluster for internal communications.
In that case, humanity should prepare as well and head straight into the L-Cluster to destroy it before the Gray Tempest really gained momentum.
But if they did that...
Wouldn't they miss out on a lot of fun?
Deep down, Xi Yan wanted to see just how much of an impact the Gray Tempest could have on the current interstellar situation.
Even if that meant taking a risk with the Gray Tempest.
The current interstellar situation was still too stable. Xi Yan desperately needed a major upheaval to muddy the waters so the Interstellar Human Military Junta could fish in them and rake in more benefits to its heart's content.
The Xindari Triumvirate's representative was still holding forth at the podium, its voice brimming with emotion as it tore into Minamar Specialized Industries.
Betrayal! This was outright betrayal!
The representative of the ruthless industrial conglomerate paid no mind whatsoever to its former ally's condemnation. After calmly accepting the criticism, it immediately took the podium and demanded that the Sea of Stars Community launch joint military operations against the Gray Tempest.
