In fact, after Psionics Ascension was fully completed, the Solar System had already been incorporated into the Empire as a special administrative region. Over the past few days, unusual reports had kept arriving from Earth, humanity's Homeworld.
These included paranormal incidents, ancient ruins emerging one after another, unclaimed psionic power taking the form of projections of extinct creatures and even beings that existed only in mythology, and sacred signs frequently appearing at various historic landmarks.
On more than one occasion, psionic images resembling dragons had appeared in the skies above Earth. Tremors underground had exposed ancient tombs buried since the ancient era, and the materials excavated from them had repeatedly mentioned "the sovereign of all humanity" and "the God
