The early fighting was not particularly dire. Only fleets with several hundred M in combat power had been reduced to ash by the Matter Decomposer.
The fleets of the Realm Breakers and Path Divergers did indeed collide, and fierce fighting immediately erupted. Although the Empire could not decipher the Extradimensional Invaders' communications, it was certain that they were hurling filthy insults at each other.
The Empire had now followed in neighboring Warhammer's footsteps. Not only had Xi Yan become the (Sea of Stars) Emperor seated upon the Golden Throne, but the Psionics Users under his command also suffered millions of casualties in every battle.
The best part, however, was that the Golden Throne served as a relay for Xi Yan's power rather than the torture device next door. Subspace (the Shroud) was also on his side. Even so, the unfortunate Blorg were terrified. With no other recourse, they could only send the seeds of their civilization to the Empire Core and preserve their species in the Organic Codex before resolutely throwing themselves into the resistance.
Though they called it resistance, these frail organic beings had no means of countering extradimensional power. The Realm Breakers
