On an island covered in vegetation.

"This is delicious!"

Wang Yao bit into the tart fruit, fell to his knees, and bawled.

It wasn't that he wasn't tough enough. Fleeing all this way had simply left him mentally and physically exhausted, and when he took his first bite of food, he could no longer hold back his tears.

"Cha..."

Looking down at his Trainer, who had been crying for half an hour without stopping, Sceptile had no idea how to comfort him. He simply went off to train alone, out of sight, out of mind.

Sceptile had learned a great deal from his last exchange with Blaziken, and had even used Blaziken's Special Training Method to create a routine better suited to himself.

Sceptile sliced through a tree and gazed at the setting sun, hoping he would someday get to fight Blaziken again.

After crying for over an hour, Wang Yao finally wore himself out and lay on the ground, staring up at the stars.

Food and water were no longer a problem. He just didn't know his coordinates. Still, Fletchinder was about to evolve. Once the little fellow evolved into Talonflame, all his problems would be easily resolved.

Imperial Capital.

"Your memories were erased."

Cynthia stuck out her pink tongue and licked the ice cream in her hand, telling Dragon Tamer the truth as he held his forehead and racked his brains.

"My memories were erased?"

Dragon Tamer scratched his head. He seemed to have experienced something like this once before on New Island.

Cynthia nodded. "Yes. With Ye Qing around, it's hardly surprising something like this happened. It was probably that one's way of protecting him."

After a long pause, Cynthia gave Dragon Tamer a somewhat sympathetic look and added, "You should get used to it, too."
