The wilderness of this world was not safe. Some extremely aggressive wild Pokémon would never pass up such easy prey.
Ye Qing and the hundred-odd others slowly climbed onto Wailord's back using the platform specially built on the dock. Stroking his smooth, soft skin, they marveled at just how well-off Ms. Zhao was.
"Wail~"
Wailord let out a long cry and swung his enormous tail, swimming swiftly toward the deep sea.
Thanks to Zhao Xinran, all the best spots on Wailord were occupied by Class One students.
Wang Yao stood on top of Wailord's head and struck the classic Titanic pose.
Fujii Gongshu stood with his younger sister, gazing out at the distant sea with a gloomy face. Who knew what he was plotting?
Ye Qing lay on Wailord's head, looking up at the blue sky and white clouds in utter comfort.
Wailord's unrestrained passage naturally displeased many Pokémon in the sea, but most could only swallow their anger and retreat when they saw the group's imposing lineup.
There was no shortage of hotheads, however. One particularly furious Gyarados fired a bucket-thick Hydro Pump from his gaping maw!
Principal Jiang flew into a rage. "How dare you! Dragon Pulse!"
Salamence roared, and a blue shock wave of energy instantly shattered the Hydro Pump before slamming into Gyarados without losing any of its force.
"Roar!"
Gyarados might have had a violent temper, but that did not mean he was stupid. After venting his anger, he saw the situation turning against him and immediately fled, disappearing into the vast sea in the blink of an eye.
Still, it was clear that Salamence had held back. Otherwise, with such an enormous gap in strength, Gyarados would have been beaten half to death at the very least.
"A Gyarados!"
Wang Yao was practically drooling.
