Background / History

Lin Xiao remembers a previous life in which he played Dungeon City and spent money pursuing equipment through the Pot Merchant’s jars. He also knows the original Douluo story and recognizes characters, relationships, and events from it 47 58 180 278.

As the Little Shop’s owner, he is bound to a system connected to the Dungeon City game world. Initially, he has no martial soul, making many treasures valuable to ordinary Soul Masters useless to him. Obtaining an Awakening Ticket changes that: jar rewards become the foundation of his personal cultivation 4 21.

Appearance

• Youthful appearance: Hu Liena initially judges him to look no more than two years older than Xie Yue 4.

He has little patience for behavior that interrupts business. He dismisses skeptical visitors who have no intention of buying, offers practical solutions when customers struggle, and refuses to indulge gratitude when it delays further transactions 4 246 325.

Despite mocking customers’ gambling superstitions, he adopts his own rituals when opening jars, including washing his face for an imagined luck buff. His enthusiasm for enhancement can override his caution, eventually costing him ring enhancements and the Soul Power they supplied 4 47 396.

He enjoys stylish abilities and repeatedly values their appearance alongside their combat usefulness. Nevertheless, he prioritizes survival: he chooses safe ring-hunting targets, carries escape items, and recognizes the importance of strengthening himself outside the shop 83 104 195 316.

His retaliation is severe when directly attacked. In the finale, he abandons his earlier noninterference in the Divine Realm’s conflict after the Destruction God King targets him 474.
