"Today is the fifth. There are still ten days until the fifteenth."
Beside him, Master Xuanzhi nodded.
"That's right. If we set out for the Old Dragon Court now, we should still have a few days to rest there."
Xu Taiping immediately shook his head.
"No, we can't wait that long."
Master Xuanzhi asked in bewilderment:
"Brother Taiping, do you have something urgent to attend to?"
Xu Taiping nodded, then took the Heaven-Illuminating Mirror from inside his robe and handed it to Master Xuanzhi.
Only after Master Xuanzhi took it did he continue:
"Two extremely powerful strands of demonic qi are sealed inside this Heaven-Illuminating Mirror. With our current cultivation and combat strength, we're no match for them. We can only take it to the Thousand Buddha Kingdom in Wilderness Heaven as quickly as possible and ask Venerable Jiaye to help deal with them."
Hearing this, Master Xuanzhi pressed a hand against the mirror's surface. The demonic qi inside immediately knocked his palm away with a bang.
His expression changed at once.
"What powerful demonic beasts!"
Xu Taiping did not explain the origins of the demonic qi to Xuanzhi in detail. Instead, he looked toward the Old Dragon Court with a grave expression.
"This Heaven-Illuminating Mirror can keep the demonic qi sealed for two more days at most, so we must enter the Wilderness within two days."
Xuanzhi immediately frowned.
"I'm afraid we won't make it in time, will we?"
There were at least ten days left before the sandstorm at the entrance ended. Going there now meant forcing their way through it.
