The Dou* Continent, the Snake-People Tribe.

Moonlight spilled over the ground like water, lending the entire desert an unusual air of peace and quiet.

Beside Queen's Lake, Long Xiao lay on the shore, his clothes soaked through. His eyes were shut, and he was unconscious.

She was the queen of the Snake-People, Medusa.

Medusa snorted coldly, and a burst of red light erupted from her body as she tried to block the attack. Yet it felt like a mayfly trying to shake a mighty tree.

Just as the Golden Dragon Claw was about to seize them, Long Xiao's expression changed slightly, and he hurriedly withdrew his attack. Otherwise, the two women would likely have been killed or crippled.

Long Xiao regained his clarity and asked the two snake women before him.

"Human, what is your name?" Queen Medusa asked.
