• Xue Haicang and his companions asked Zhou Liu to take them to the forbidden grounds, and he led them to the Sea God Hall and its thousand-and-one steps.

Meanwhile, a disguised figure visited the group, and Tang San's drunken resentment turned into a dream in which he relived his childhood and suffered familiar humiliations.

• Zhou Liu claimed that Qian Daoliu's ancestor had fought the Sea God over Bo Saixi and left the sword scar on the Sea God Steps, then departed after warning Xue Haicang and the others to keep the story secret.

After the first game forced them to inspect bloody spines, he began a second game about identifying an unborn child's sex and prepared to serve them food.

• Blood Fiend explained the Ginseng Fruit’s benefits and urged Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Ma Hongjun to eat, while Tang San realized they had no real choice but to comply.
• Driven by his desire for power, Tang San ate both Ginseng Fruits, and Rakshasa energy transformed his Martial Souls into the Dark Blue Silver Emperor and Blood Fiend Heaven-Splitting Hammer while restoring his twin Martial Soul talent.

• Qian Renxue and Qian Chongling discovered an enormous crystal screen above Spirit City, and Qian Chongling identified it as a broadcasting soul tool.

After three months of preparation, Lü Lingqi and Lin Yuanfeng launched an assault on Tianwan City while Spirit Hall agents incited the oppressed civilians to rebel from within. The west gate fell to Qingfeng’s forces, and Lin Yuanfeng led two cavalry legions through it as the Star Luo Empire began its invasion of the Heaven Dou Empire.

• Three months passed as the Shrek Three Heroes continued the Rakshasa God Trial, Xue Haicang and his companions undertook the Sea God Trial, and Qian Renxue studied two divine skills.
• Lü Lingqi confirmed that Tianwan City was ready to be taken, while Lin Yuanfeng reported that victory feasts had been prepared.
• Qingfeng rallied civilians who had suffered under Tianwan City’s nobles and revealed that Spirit Hall agents and a vast Star Luo army supported their uprising.

• Lin Yuanfeng ordered his troops to search Tianchang City for survivors and learned that 172 people had survived, many of them nobles.
• Lin Yuanfeng agreed to restore Tianchang City and, with Spirit Hall deacon Black Tower’s support, ordered the surviving nobles beheaded before the commoners.

• City Lord Gao welcomed Chang Bin and Kuan Ye to Hengyang City, where the three leaders feasted before leading their combined forces toward Heaven Dou Imperial City.
• Gao Ming dismissed warnings of an ambush and led the two hundred thousand troops onto the shortcut, while a Spirit Hall scout reported their route to Lü Lingqi.
• Lü Lingqi ordered eight Yuan-Destroying Cannons positioned above One-Line Sky and prepared to bombard the approaching army.

Lin Yuanfeng's Army-Breaker Battalion then routed Ge Hu's forces with Desert Eagles, leaving Xue Qinghe to defend Heaven Dou Imperial City by sealing its gates and using civilians as hostages.

• Dai Tianfeng told Xue Qinghe that four Super Douluos and seven Titled Douluos had destroyed two hundred thousand Heaven Dou reinforcements at Sunset Cliff.
• Lin Yuanfeng ordered the Army-Breaker Battalion to advance against Ge Hu's Hidden Weapon Battalion, whose soldiers expected to use their hidden weapons.

Qian Renxue passed the Angel Eighth Trial and entered the true Angel Temple to begin the final trial. As her blood awakened the Angel Holy Sword, the sword began glowing, but the trial’s first part remained unfinished.

• Qian Renxue defeated Qian Daoliu in their sparring match, completing the Angel Eighth Trial.
