On the island, the group received their assessments, and Xue Haicang was chosen for the Sea God Nine Trials as Bo Saixi warned of a threat to the continent.

• Xue Qinghe learned that Jialing Pass and several other cities had fallen to the Star Luo Empire, then prepared to lead Heaven Dou and sent Tang San’s party to seek Sea God Island’s aid.
• Lü Lingqi planned a covert operation to open Jialing Pass from within, while Xue Haicang awakened the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and learned its powers.
• The Shrek Seven Devils traveled west, killed the Wolf Bandits who had slaughtered a village, and reached Vast Sea City.
• Qian Renxue defeated Qian Xunji to pass her sixth Angel Trial, then entered a secret realm to master two divine skills for her seventh trial.

Tang San accepted the Rakshasa inheritance while Xue Haicang and his companions pursued the Sea God trials, as Spirit Hall and the Star Luo Empire advanced against Heaven Dou. The arc ended with Qian Renxue beginning her Angel God inheritance and Heaven Dou Imperial City under threat.

• Bo Saixi explained the divine legacies and assigned Xue Haicang and his companions Sea God trials, while Zhou Liu recounted the Peerless Douluos and the scar on the Sea God Steps.
• Blood Fiend offered Tang San the Rakshasa inheritance, and Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Ma Hongjun traveled to Dawn Island, accepted Rakshasa power, and began their trials.
• Xue Qinghe crushed a noble rebellion, while Lin Yuanfeng and the Star Luo forces captured several cities and destroyed Heaven Dou reinforcements with Spirit Hall’s help.

Tang San pursued the Rakshasa trials through murder and betrayal as Spirit Hall unified the continent under Bibi Dong. Qian Chongling prepared Spirit City for Tang Chen’s assault while Tang San began the sacrifice required for his next trial.

• Qian Renxue became the Angel God and endured Qian Chongling’s trial until he declared her trials complete.
• Tang San and Dai Mubai returned from Sea God Island, killed Yu Xiaogang and Liu Erlong, and Tang San poisoned Tang Yuehua before learning she survived.
• Tang San and Dai Mubai destroyed the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, with the Rakshasa God taking control of Tang San to kill Yu Luomian and Yu Yuanzhen.
• Dai Mubai killed Dai Weisi in Maple Leaf Valley, but Tang San betrayed him, drained his life, and left him dead.

Qian Chongling defeated the Rakshasa God and Tang San’s allies, destroyed Sea God Island, and confronted the Asura God before reshaping the divine and mortal worlds. He then revived Qian Renxue and began rebuilding Spirit Hall across another world, leaving Xu Tianran empowered and the Holy Spirit Cult under threat.

• Qian Daoliu killed Tang Chen, while Qian Chongling’s forces bombarded Slaughter City and Qian Chongling confronted the Rakshasa God as Tang San inherited her godhood.
• Qian Renxue and Bibi Dong joined Qian Chongling against Tang San and the Rakshasa God, but the Asura God helped them escape to the Divine Realm, where the two gods began merging.
• Qian Chongling and Qian Renxue led the attack on Sea God Island, killed Xiao Bai, and forced Bo Saixi and the remaining Sacred Pillar guardians to surrender after losing two contests.
